I'm so grateful for having the opportunity to work at Oskar Gründler Gymnasium for the last 9 months.

It has gone by so fast! I have now worked with all the classes from 5th -12th assisting in lessons with the younger years and conducting speaking classes with the older classes to prepare them for their exams. I have taught things from Christmas and Easter in the Uk, to the parliamentary system and the Brexit. In addition to English lessons, I have helped in other subjects in bilingual lessons. As well as helping in lessons I have been running an English club with a few students that connects them with 2 schools in the UK, so they have had the opportunity to learn about young people their own age in Britain. I feel like I have learnt as much about the English language as I have the German language, and will be going home with fond memories of my time working in Gebesee.
